SłuchApka: An Innovative Way to Learn Literature
SłuchApka is an Android application developed by Gdańskie Wydawnictwo Oświatowe, which offers an innovative way to learn literature. The app allows users to listen to literary works included in selected GWO textbooks, read by professional actors. All the user needs to do is to bring their smartphone close to the text in the book while the app is running, and the audio will automatically start playing.
One of the main advantages of SłuchApka is that it helps users to better understand the text they are reading by listening to it while following along with the written words. This approach helps users to appreciate the beauty of language, its melody, and rhythm, while also improving their reading comprehension skills. The app is suitable for both students and teachers, and currently includes textbooks for elementary school (grades 4-8) and high school (grades 1-2).
